Sunflower Tilda

Here is a picture of the inside of the card.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! I live near Keene, NH and this is Pumpkin Festival weekend. So this afternoon I joined the ladies from my gym for a flash mob during the event. It was a lot of fun. After that had a very nice pizza lunch with my wonderful husband and son.

I just finished this card for my niece's 21st birthday which is on Monday. I used Magnolia's Sunflower Tilda and Shabby Chic Fence stamps. The images were colored with Copic markers. I sprayed the background with Fairy Garden Glimmer Mist. The edges were stitched with green floss, I added some flowers, butterflies and bling to complete the card. Your comments are appreciated.

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream

Hello, I hope everyone is having a good week. I made this simple birthday card with Magnolia Ice Cream from the Lazy Summer Collection and Mini Lazy Day Summer Tilda stamps. I used my new Spellbinders Lacey Circles. I colored the images with Copic markers, E000, E00, Ell, E31, E35, E37, E25, E50, C00, C01, C03, R20, R81, and R89. To add some sparkle I used a pink glitter pen and you can't see it real well but I used a gold Spica pen on the halo on Tilda's head. The beautiful lilies I got a Michael's on clearance and they are actually a porcelain material. To finish the card I stamped happy birthday and added the brown ribbon. To give the card dimension I used pop dots.

Yesterday I stayed home because I was not feeling well as you can see my girls took advantage of the day. They were very tired. LOL! They just love hanging out with me especially when I am crafting.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!

The Great Pumpkin

I just love fall. The leaves are so beautiful right now. It would be so nice if the weather could stay like this for a couple of months.

Over the weekend I made this spooktacular printers tray. I used the Magnolia pumpkin & leaves from the So Spooky Collection. I painted the house with crackle paint and then gave it a light mist with perfect pearls. The apothecary bottle is filled with black and glow in the dark glitter. Oh yes, the windows also glow in the dark. Let me know what you think.

Dancing Tilda Birthday Book

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. What a gorgeous weekend we are having bright sunshine and high 70's.

I bought this flower shape book at Michaels last week and decided to make a keepsake birthday book for my son's girlfriend. The photos are from some of her bucket list for summer 2011. Of course Dancing Tilda is the star on the cover. I colored her with Copics, the paper is from the memory box collection "Minuet" and the embellishments are from 7 Gypsies. I have had the ribbon for some time and could never figure out how or what to use it on; it seemed so appropriate for the flower petals on the front cover. Let me know what you think.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Printers Tray

Happy Wednesday! It has been a while since my last post. I have too many projects going at once.

This weekend I started this printers tray. I used Memory Box Halloween paper, Tim Holtz Halloween Haunts paper and Tim Holtz tissue tape. My good friend cut the fence and cat with her new Vagabond and the spider web was a new die from Memory Box that my other friend just bought.I added some ghoulish embellishments. The little bottle is filled with black, yellow and glow in the dark glitter. I painted the fence with crackle paint and sponged it with Tim Holtz new Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The cat is painted with Slate Glimmer Mist.

Enjoy!
