Happy Birthday to a Dear Friend

Happy Saturday,

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I am so enjoying Florida with my family.  Sunshine and the ocean you can't beat that......

Today I would like to share a birthday card that made for a good friend. I really enjoy coloring these Wild Rose Studio images.  I chose to do a simple design using die cuts for the final touches. My friend really liked her card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Family Memories

Hi everyone!!  It's almost Christmas and though we all have family and friends we enjoy spending time with at this time of the year, we also have family and friends that we don't see or visit with often enough but still mean just as much to us!  Us gals on the Design Team of Color Me Creative Challenge Site wanted to take a moment to say send a big HUG and a special thanks to our fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.

Suzanne HAS to be the easiest and sweetest person to work with and, as many of you know from reading her blog, about the funniest too (though sometimes we ALL think she'd be better off leaving the house in bubble wrap! LOL)  *Kidding!!*

As you may have figured out, Suzanne adores the time she spends with her family and quite often shares her travels and outings with us.  So, as a little way to encourage her to continue doing what she loves best AND to keep sharing it with us... the DT would like to invite you to share in our little blog hop sharing our creations for Suzanne that remind us of family, sharing, recording memories and love.  Suzanne is a perfect example of how to share as much time as you can with those you love and to create memories that will last a lifetime for generations to come.

So here's to you, Suzanne... we love you, your crazy ways and think you are just like family to us as well.

I am so blessed to have such an awesome family! My husband is my rock, he is understanding, compassionate, and patient. My two sons are amazing. They have both turned out to be caring young men. And lastly, my daughter-in-law she is a beautiful young woman. I love them all!

Now head on over to Tina Gilliland and enjoy the awesome project she is sharing with Suzanne.  If you missed the beginning of the hop, you can head on over to

Thanks for stopping by and we hope you have a VERY Merry Christmas and that you make all the memories and treasured times you can with your family and friends!

We love you, Suzanne and thank you for another fabulous year with the CMC DT "family"!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!

Waiting for Santa

Welcome to Inky's Inspirational Blog!

Today I chose to make an easel card. For the frame of the card you will need a piece of cardstock 8"x5" score at 2" and 4". Then you choose how you would like to design your card. In order for you card to stand open you will need something that can hold the flap. Buttons work great or a chipboard shape.

I used the image from Inky Impressions Joey and Lynne's Cookies for Santa. I used Christmas paper from Maja Designs, wood sentiment from Prima, Liquid Pearls and Copic Markers. I did paper piece part of the image.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope your are inspired to create a card today.
